Banned. Psychoactive THC isomers such as delta-8 count toward the 0.3% limit and synthetic substances are barred from hemp; intentionally violating the hemp law is a misdemeanor (up to 6 months in jail, a fine up to $750, or both).
Possessing 3 oz or less of marijuana is a misdemeanor under Wyoming Statute 35-7-1031(c): up to 12 months in jail, a fine of up to $1,000, or both; a third offense brings up to 5 years.
In danger. Federal law excludes hemp products with more than 0.4 mg total THC per container from hemp on Dec. 11, 2026; this covers hemp delta-9 THC gummies that Wyoming law allows under its 0.3% limit.
